The Argyll Relays hosted by Madison Grant gave Alexandria Track and Field a chance to compete against some great competition and show some of the improvements they have made from the beginning of the season. Overall, this event was one of the best outings for the Tigers this season in attitude and effort. Many competitors proved important parts of successful relay teams. Top individual performers were Kelsey Crisp with a win in the girls 100m Dash. Craig Doty placed 3rd in the boys high jump, while brother Matt finished tied for 6th. One of the relay highlights was a 4th place finish in the 4x200m Co-Ed Relay team of Alexis Crum, Evan Hodges, Kelsey Crisp, and Anthony Thomas. The girls sprint medley ( Brittany Clark, Crum, Kelsey Thurber, Crisp) and the girls 4×100 (Thurber, Maddie Thomas, Courtney Skinner, Crisp) both had performances worthy of 4th place.
Both teams compete Tuesday, May 7th in the CIC Championship hosted at Indiana Wesleyan University beginning at 5:30pm.
