Wrestling Squares Off vs. Wes-Del for Senior Night

Tyler Blanton is are lone senior on this year’s wrestling team.  We will honor Tyler before our wrestling team faces Wes-Del in a dual here at the Jungle tonight.  The match begins at 6pm.

High School Wrestling Season Ends

The Tiger Wrestling Program ended their season last weekend at the Regionals.  We had two Tiger Wrestlers advance out of the sectional, Nathan Dulworth and Leyton Peavler. Nathan Dulworth collected a CIC Championship in the 132 pound weight class. The Tigers will celebrate their season with an end of the year banquet on February 25th.

Ryan advances to State Finals

NEW CASTLE, IN – Alexandria’s Nate Ryan entered Semi-State action last week with all of the odds against him. Despite everyone’s beliefs, Ryan battled his way through the field grabbing a fourth place finish and earning a spot in this week’s State Finals. In first round action, Ryan faced Brandon Manning (38-6) from South Dearborn.

Alexandria’s wrestling team traveled to Hamilton Heights Saturday to participate in the IHSAA Sectional, and to see how many wrestlers they would be able to advance on to next week’s Regional action.
